Outside Martha Jane Chapman's home in Pontesbury Shropshire.
Martha was the daughter of Richard Chapman, my great Uncle. She was born
on the Australian goldfields in the late 19th century. Her mother Jane died there and she returned to England with Richard who remarried Dorcas Drew and went off to the gildfields in NZ. Martha Jane stayed behind with her Aunt.
Richard and his daughter Martha Jane are buried together in Pontesbury, as the preceding post shows.
