May 2008. Susan is the amazing family researcher who helped me so much in finding out about the Chapmans, my mother's family. We met for the first time in Shropshire, where the Chapmans lived in the 18th and 19th centuries. Susan and I share a great great great grandfather Richard Chapman, who was a farmer in Pontesbury, Shropshire. We had a wonderful time in Shropshire with our cousins, especially climbing Pontesford Hill and 2 magical dinners at the Three Pigeons.
